Spanish Cocoa

Writer: Ingrid PaakspuuIngrid Paakspuu

The recipe is meant for two or three people. I made a drink with half the amount of ingredients for myself and my brother, because we had a desire to drink something warm, but sweet, on a cold winter day. What makes this drink nice is that its not just liquid cocoa, but a thicker drink that almost feels like a dessert.

Ingredients:

125g of dark chocolate (for example, Kalev Vilma baking chocolate dark 70%)

5dl of milk

1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

sugar (according to one’s preferences. I did not add any sugar and the taste was still very good)

Instructions:

Chop up the chocolate and put it with half of the milk into the saucepan. Heat it until the chocolate is melted. Mix the cornstarch with the rest of the milk in a bowl. Pour it into the chocolate milk. Stir, pour everything into glasses and enjoy immediately.
